On Saturday we wandered round Spitalfields, London.
Benjamin was feeling kinda Hipster and its a good place to be ubercool and look at vintage clothes (he’s looking for new threads but as he can never find anything he likes the search continues) and beautiful Georgian Huguenot weavers houses which we now can’t afford and wouldn’t have wanted to have lived in when we could.
We saw an old building all decked out in 1970′s Midland Bank typeface
and a nice stand up card man in a window which gave us inspiration. Last time we were there we saw Gilbert and George nipping out of their house which made it an authentic experience.
Regeneration is a funny old thing. Spitalfields market now looks like a shopping mall in suburban Toronto but there is enough of the old to make it a nice place to hangout, look in galleries and drink coffee.

I love the first photo.
He is rather wonderful isn’t he!
Once again, I love the “stand up” ,man!
Hes great isnt he. Looks like he has been standing there all day and really needs to sit down and have a cup of tea!
