New greetings cards and a long drive from Yorkshire through the snow.

We are just back from a long weekend up in North Yorkshire. We really didn’t think we would get back home! It was minus six this morning and the campervan looked like an icicle. But the drive home through a landscape of thick snow and trees with hoar frost in the sun was stunning.  And here we are ‘down south’, back in the big forest hut, no snow to be seen but surrounded by some beautiful old furniture we were given by M+C .

We have lots to tell you about our weekend in Yorkshire and we will blog about our adventures soon.

Folks kept requesting greetings cards here at TheBigForest so we finally cycled down to the printers a couple of months back with  super photos of bears in various poses (bear with snout up and paw on hip, bear with strategically placed fan, bear coyly smiling behind large oak tree – you know the kind of thing). We were delighted with the first range of cards that sold out before Christmas and now at our Etsy shop you can find the new range of cards available in packs of five different designs, beautifully photographed, produced in thick card stock, and individually sealed in a cello envelope (they are also available singly).

They are great for cool adults and children………….. and like everything in TheBigForest, strictly limited edition.

Now back to moving furniture – all you can hear across the forest at the moment are howls as we stub our toes on a carelessly placed hall table or  grandfather clock!
