Benjamin has been busy…

Benjamin Maker in Chief at TheBigForest has been busy designing new goods for the Clerkenwell CraftCentral event we blogged about. TheBigForest hut is a creative muddle of patterns, cutting, handsewing, machining and the odd snuffle and groan as what seemed like a good idea doesn’t work quite as planned and delighted cries  when something turns out not only superright but superbrilliant.

The enclose image was taken last week in response to a request from a magazine and we thought we should also show you and all our blogging friends too.

First there is Count Cornelius one of the limited edition Artist Bears. So many of the editions have now sold out and Count Cornelius the Goth Bear will soon. I think I’ve shown him to you before as he is a rather colourful character with his swirling cape, moustache and fangs.

Then there is the Otto the Lion cellphone/blackberry cover which has produced plenty of oohhhs and ahhhs when we have shown it to customers. Its lined with lovely quirky spotted or striped fabric and there is lovely enamelled button to make sure everyting is safe.

Next up is an Otto the Lion cushion cover. These cushion covers look fantastic in a nursery or playroom. Any animal from TheBigForest can be made in to a cushion and we love to personalise them with a child name or name and birth date for a christening or birthday present. And finally there is Mellors, one of the Orson Bears and I definitely know you have seem him before but he ambled in to the picture and as we love him we thought he could stay there.

Have a wonderful week everyone, one half of TheBigForest is travelling half way over England so if you see a flustered bear with a big leather suitcase its probably me (or maybe you simply need to cut back on that  Special Brew!).
