British characters: The Mod

We are currently making a series of British Character Artist Bears for selling in events in May and June. Benjamin – Maker in Chief here at TheBigForest thought you might like to see Bill the Mod Bear. Target on his tummy, vinyl by The Who under his arm and a nice selection of badges  – scooters, the union jack etc on his melton scarf. As The Who might say, his name is Bill and he’s a headcase (although a rather gentle one as are all TheBigForest Bears!)

He stands around 18 inches tall, is beautifully hand-made in high quality woolfelt and is a limited edition of five with a certificate of authenticity. He can be customised with you (or your friends) name on one of his badges and a town or city that is special to you – this one says Brighton Mod but you could have any town or city even, say, Oregon Mod or Sydney Mod (mmmm not sure such a thing exists, says Benjamin………. but I’m sure someone will leave us a comment and tell us!).

Each bear comes in their own special box, wrapped in tissue with a personalised message for the recipient. Where else can you buy such a beautiful piece of original customised art for such a super-reasonable price?

Can’t make it to the Clerkenwell event in May or the Brighton event in June? Drop us an email and we can tell you about how we can customise a Mod Bear especially for you (and we ship internationally of course).

After two days of rain the sun has suddenly come out so we are off for a tramp through the forest and then some pretty amazing stew that in the oven, yummy…
