Parcels under TheBigForest tree

AChristmasCarolBlogBack in about May we came across this 1950’s facsimile reprint of A Christmas Carol originally published in 1843. It’s a beautiful book and Benjamin remarked the image of Mr Fezziwigs Ball would be good for a Christmas blog post.

Inside it is inscribed

With love to Dad, Happy Christmas 1952 from Tony

It will be one of the books we read over Christmas when one needs a respite from family (much as we love them dearly).

We have spent the day making, not things for TheBigForest but presents and listening to Bach Flute Sonato. What a very pleasant way to spend time and now we are totally in the holiday mood.

Very good wishes for Christmas to all our blog readers (and Happy Holidays! to our many American customers and blog readers), see you after the festivities.
