Well we had a perfect Easter. Really, really perfect. A nice time with family and then a sudden buzz of creativity when we returned to work on Tuesday. You really do need to take a break to feel refreshed.
And here, looking wonderful, are Alice’s hot cross buns. Or rather a wheat-free (not gluten-free as we wrote in an earlier edit) take on Paul Hollywoods recipe, the wheat flour replaced by half wholemeal spelt and half white spelt flour. Unbelievable – I’m not a hot cross bun fan but these were beyond perfect.
And the lamb with cumin, garlic and twists of lemon for Easter lunch was superb too.
So much for domestic bliss with the relatives, its back to the real world and a request for an interview and an exclusive make with a UK/US design magazine and some more new products for kids coming soon and lots of ideas for world domination.
