Benjamin burst in to TheBigForest hut last week with a big bag and after some unwrapping (and few strangled screams as the contents nearly went on the floor) he produced this, a thank you cake given to him for a job well done.
It came from Patisserie Valerie and tasted every bit as good as it looked. A trifle like mix of banana and chocolate and pineapple and other exotic tastes with fresh fruit to cut the excess. He shared it with family members and after the scruffle and scump of impolite cake delving in and plenty of ‘oh my’s’ and ‘gosh this is good’ we all agreed we were VERY VERY IMPRESSED!
This week we have been jogging every day and eating carrots and lettuce for dinner to compensate for all those extra calories.
